Betsey Johnson at MBFashion Week | SS2015

Kelly Thompson of Kryolan Cosmetics was the key artist for Betsey Johnson SS2015 "Prenup" Show. I was not able to do full makeup on the models, but I was able to powder a few models before they headed to the runway. Kelly is amazing! She showed the artists how to create 1980's style drag makeup with a modern fashion twist. With a majority of the designers at fashion week going the 'all natural' route for makeup, it was really refreshing for the artists to get our hands dirty and really be an artist 100% for Betsey. False lashes, feathers, smokey eyes, bold red lips, the works: I was thrilled! Here's a look at photos I took on my phone as well as my Sony HD Camera; all photography by me.

Lana Jewelry SS2014

 

Lana Jewelry just launched their Spring/Summer 2014 "Blush" Collection for Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.

 

 

 

The model is also the CEO of Lana Jewelry.

Day 4 | Allure Lounge with Maybelline New York

I was working at the Allure Lounge with Maybelline again.

 

But GUESS WHAT?

 

I ended up being extra late for the event.

 

And GUESS WHY?

 

I walk to my bus stop and my mouth fell to the ground.

 

Look at this: My day started off a HOT MESS.

 

 

 

So I head to the nearest train stop and this happens>>

 

 

All the taxi's were full and there was only one bus coming every 15 minutes.

I was screwed and there was absolutely nothing I could do but wait for an empty bus.

So when I FINALLY arrived to work, a few good things happened:

 

Pink Berry was giving out free frozen yogurt cones,

 

 

 

I bumped into one of my fave models from Chicago, Megan Graveline,

 

 

I also bumped into Socialite and Fashion Blogger, Joy Adaeze,

 

 

and I saw a few more celebrities pass by heading to Lincoln Center.

Kenya Moore, Former Miss America and co-star of Atlanta Housewives

 

 

Mr. Jay Manuel of ANTM and Wardrobe Stylist June Ambrose

 

and Ms.Jay Alexander of ANTM stopped and posed for everybody

 

 

 

So despite the craziness that happened that morning, it was an awesome day!
