Hot Mess Tranny!

Happy Halloween! I LOVE dressing up every year! :)

I call this makeup look, "Hot Mess Tranny" :)
As soon as I put on my wig, I swear a New York accent came out of me for some strange reason. Here are a few pictures of myself as a tranvestite I created for Ruben Lopez's Birthday Party/ Halloween Bash.

Products Used!
Eyes:
First, I used Kryolan Wax Stick to slick my eyebrows down.


Then, I used Ben Nye Latex so my eyebrows stay flat all night. I simply used my fingers and quickly applied them over my waxed brows. Make sure you work fast because latex dries fast!



Then, I applied MAC 3D Silver Glitter above, on and below my brows to create a much bigger, dramatic eye space. I applied it with a flat brush, and pat, pat, pat the glitter in place with a clear gel mixing medium from MAC.


I applied MAC Penultimate Liner in 'Rapid Black' to create thin brows above the glitter and a 1.5 inch crease on my tranny eyes. I prefer this pen liner over other pen liners for dramatic makeup because the felt tip is thick, so it covers a larger space faster than a thinner, precise tip. I also use it to outline my lower liner and to create an extreme cat eye on the ends.


I used MAC Pigments, 'Deep Blue Green' and 'True Chartreuse' to create an ombre' of greens on my eyelids.



I also used MAC Lip Mix in 'White' with a thin brush to create that sharp line in the water line and extended it to the outer corners of my eyes. Applied a white eye shadow to set my line.


Face:
Used MAC & Ben Nye Concealers & Powders with triangle sponges to create my face, cheekbones, jawline, etc.


MAC 'Silver Dusk' and 'Golden Bronze' Loose Powders for cheeks as well as highlighting my nose & chin.


MAC Cheeck Colors in 'Fever' to contour and 'Sweet As Cocoa' for mid tone highlight




Lips:
MAC Creme Cup Lipstick and I overlined my lips :)

Fashion Editorial with Escalante

Here are a few shots we did last weekend playing around with different concepts, outfits, models, and ideas. The rest of the shots were sent to an editorial magazine for their Summer Issue.
Longest weekend EVER but so worth it.

Stan Malinowski

This past Sunday, April 3rd, I was able to work with one of the most amazing photographers in fashion history. Just google his name and you can see Stan's amazing work yourself. Stan is full of smiles, sweet, nice, and gets straight to the point when he's shooting.

The stylist, Ruben Lopez, informed me of the shoot and the whole team brought their A Game. The shoes, jewelry and designs he brought to set were absolutely one of a kind, full on couture, high fashion madness.

The jewelry pieces were absolutely stunning.


These heels were 10 INCHES. OMG.


Stan & his assistants were setting up lights and equipment.


This was the first look I created for model Katie. Simple, clean, with a hot pink liner on her lower lash line to match her hot pink heels.


This was the first look I created for model Joni. I was really inspired by these thigh high gold boots Ruben put her in for the first look. I created a heavy, smokey brow that extended down to her nose, a dash of gold glitter underneath her brows and topped it off with a classic matte black lip.


The first looks completed before they hit the camera.


Joni was giving sooooo much life to the outfit. She worked every single angle possible.


Amazing!


The second look was inspired by Shu Uemera's new spring line. I wanted to try pastel colors for a fresh, spring look to balance with the outfit she was wearing.




These pictures don't do any justice to how absolutely stunning the dress was in person. It was so vibrant, ornate, and beautiful. Katie did a suberb job of showing off the garment while giving a very classy, elegant, regal appeal from head to toe.

The third look inspired me of The Joker meets Alexander McQueen. I blocked Katie's eyebrows and extended the smokey eye outward to give her an 'evil' appearance. She looked like a COMPLETELY different person.


This was the 4th and final look for the models. Makeup artist Christie was working on Joni for the remainder of the looks and we worked it out until 2am!!


The final outfits were created by designer JuJu LaCour. He is TALENTED.
